I am an Associate Editor handling submissions to Wiley journals on materials sciences. I worked as a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Chemistry, Virginia Tech, from 2017 to 2020. I obtained my Ph.D. in Physical and Material Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) in 2017. My research focuses on development of functional materials for energy harvesting, conversion and storage. Applications include supercapacitors, microbial fuel cells and photo-electrochemical water splitting. I am passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education of all levels and dedicate to its promotion via seminars, guest lectures and outreach activities.
